Miss Universe 2015 turns to be the Twitter's biggest trend of the night as social media spectators articulates their incredulity and disappointment.

Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach expresses her compassion she consoles Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez.

Wurtzbach says, "I'm very sorry, I did not take the crown away from her and I wish her well in whatever she wants to pursue after this pageant," she said.

Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez likewise articulates her feelings toward her fans saying, "Everything happens for a reason so I'm happy for all that I did."

As the pageant closes in Las Vegas, she was recognized as first runner-up followed by Olivia Jordan of the United States.

The host Steve Harvey apologizes to the crowd that it is "his mistake" and he would hold himself responsible for not reading the winning card appropriately.

In his tweet, he made another error when he misspelled both Colombia and the Philippines, which was deleted later.
