takes the runner-up relinquishing her crown to
Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach expresses
her compassion she consoles Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez.
Wurtzbach says, "I'm
very sorry, I did not take the crown away from her and I wish her well in
whatever she wants to pursue after this pageant," she said.
Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez likewise articulates
her feelings toward her fans saying, "Everything happens for a reason so
I'm happy for all that I did."
As the pageant closes in Las Vegas, she was
recognized as first runner-up followed by Olivia Jordan of the United States.
